Walking the Bodhisattva Path: Living by Vow - Online Dharma Seminar

Walking the Bodhisattva Path: Living by Vow

Online Dharma Seminar

Every Wednesday from May 31st -June 28th

The Four Great Bodhisattva Vows

Beings are numberless,

I vow to awaken with them.

Greed, hatred and delusion are inexhaustible,

I vow to abandon them.

Dharma gates are boundless,

I vow to enter them.

The Way is endless,

I vow to become it.

A Bodhisattva is a wise, feeling being; a person committed to cultivating a life of wholehearted generosity and wisdom. Bodhisattvas understand the truth of or deep connectedness—that no one can truly be free while others suffer.

In a world where the fabric of our shared humanity is at the breaking point, Bodhisattva vows offer powerful guidance for navigating a life of purpose, integrity and love. Over the course of five weeks, we will discover the Bodhisattva archetype as an inspiration for meeting the raw pain and raucous beauty of the world with skill and kindness. Together we will study the Four Bodhisattva Vows, and explore the themes of anxiety, inspiration, aspiration, intentionality, paradox and mystery.

All are welcome. For those unable to attend in person, each seminar will be recorded, and all readings and assignments will be available through a dedicated online portal.

This seminar will provide foundational teachings for those interested in receiving formal Bodhisattva Precepts as part of a Bodhisattva Initiation ceremony.

Walking the Bodhisattva Path: Living by Vow is offered on a sliding scale from $75-$250.

Please pay at the highest level you are able. For those able to pay at the higher end, your generosity supports others with limited resources or who are unable to pay at this time. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
