Awakening a Fierce Feminine Buddhism
This online weekend workshop will include teachings, reflections and practices that reweave feminine qualities—of embodiment, nourishment, tenderness and mystery—into the fabric of Buddhist practice, and will share myths and stories of Buddhist women, who surrounded the historical Buddha including his mother, Maya, his aunt, Pajapati, and his wife, Yasodhara. We will also introduce feminine and transfeminine archetypes that offer inspirational examples for addressing the divisiveness and uncertainty we face today.
Our time together will include guided meditation, dharma talks, and interactive inquiry. You will leave with new insights and perspectives, and fresh ways to embody and engage practice in daily life.
People of all genders are welcome.
